About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Business Head of Credit Cards to lead a cross-functional team of experts in launching and operating multiple high Return on Equity (RoE) credit card programs in the UK market across near-prime and prime segments. As a key member of our leadership team, you will report directly to our CEO, Bhavin Turakhia.
Key Responsibilities- Define, launch, and optimize the full Program Management lifecycle of a Credit Card, including Product Definition, Marketing, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Operations, Customer Support, Collections, and Financial Modeling.
- Develop and implement sophisticated credit risk and underwriting models and rules leveraging bureau data, alternative data, and portfolio data.
- Monitor and grow the performance and size of large credit card portfolios, ensuring operational rigor and efficiency.
- Lead a lean and efficient team, identifying, attracting, inspiring, training, and retaining top talent.
- 15+ years of experience in heading Credit Risk and Underwriting, Acquisition, Portfolio Management, and Collections for large-sized credit card portfolios.
- Experience in building a credit card portfolio from scratch as a cross-functional leader is desirable.
- Degrees in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Statistics are desirable.
