Job Description

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Teaching Assistants
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students' learning.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs.
  • Help with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare learning materials and resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they achieve their potential.
Cover Supervisors
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task with pre-set work.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning activities as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure continuity of education.
Qualified Teachers
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.
Requirements
  • For Teaching Assistants: A positive attitude and a passion for working with young people, good communication and interpersonal skills, no prior experience required, training will be provided.
  • For Cover Supervisors: Strong organisational and classroom management skills, confidence in managing groups of students, previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • For Qualified Teachers: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, proven experience in teaching and managing a classroom, strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies, excellent communication and organisational skills.
