We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Professional to join our team at WR Engineering Recruiters. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales and be able to build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

The company we are representing is a global engineering corporation that designs and manufactures a wide range of engineering components used in various industries.

The Role

  • As a Technical Sales Professional, you will be responsible for selling high-value orders to OEMs and manufacturers in the automotive, materials handling, machine builders, and industrial engineering sectors.
  • You will identify new business opportunities and work closely with your sales manager to develop sales strategies.
  • You will provide solutions to clients by selling non-standard products and a comprehensive range of off-the-shelf products.
  • You will receive full product training and support from the global manufacturer.

Requirements

  • Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject.
  • Sales experience: field sales experience is preferred, but we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales.
  • This is a proactive field sales role, and you must be prepared to generate new business.
  • Beneficial knowledge: one of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, engineered metal or rubber components.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Package

  • To £40,000 salary, (OTE with commission £50,000-£55,000).
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Company car.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Paid lunch every day.
