Logistics Procurement Lead
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Procurement Lead to join our award-winning procurement function at Bramwith Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of business-critical logistics accounts to deliver value in commercial, sustainability, and digital focus areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage £multi-million worth of spend across various logistics subcategories, including fleet, freight, road transport, haulage, warehousing, 3PL, distribution, and automation.
- Develop and implement effective category strategies and lead strategic sourcing projects to drive value and contribute to the company's complex logistics portfolio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to extract value from long-term and high-value contracts, leveraging commercial acumen, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- Provide commercial management, contract management, and stakeholder management expertise to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in indirect procurement, preferably in logistics, capex, MRO, transport, or facilities management.
- Background in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large logistics spend, contract management, stakeholder management, and commercial management.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with c-suite stakeholders.
