**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Stateside Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across our site.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead and manage the QA team to ensure the smooth running of the site, including the review and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with the Site Factory Manager to ensure decisions and actions are taken to maintain product quality and food safety integrity.
  • Conduct strategic planning to ensure the site continues to move forward and meet its quality and safety objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and retailers.
  • Implement improvement plans through assessment of data and trends, and report findings to senior management.
  • Ensure hygiene standards in production areas are maintained, and artwork approval processes are in place.
  • Support the Senior QA in the day-to-day management of the QA team, and work closely with the Company Quality Manager to keep them up to date with site issues.
  • Provide support to the Company Quality Manager as required, and undertake project work as needed.

**Requirements**

Candidates should have a degree in a food-related discipline or equivalent, along with HACCP Level 3 and Food Hygiene to an Advanced Level. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
