Job Title: Head Housekeeper

The Head Housekeeper is a key member of the Springdene Care Homes Group team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and supervise a team of domestic and laundry staff, ensuring that all areas of the homes are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and supervise a team of domestic and laundry staff, ensuring that all areas of the homes are maintained to the highest standards.
  2. Procure all necessary supplies for each of the three homes, ensuring that the team has the resources they need to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Schedule routine servicing across the group, working closely with the CEO to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across the homes.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the needs of the residents are met, and that the homes are maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience working in a management role in a hotel or large care home.
  • Experience of managing, supervising, and leading a team, including running communication meetings, mentoring, and training on the job.
  • Experience in managing multi-site teams.
  • Strong IT skills, including database software and Microsoft Office.

Working Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
