About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil-Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our nuclear projects team, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of new build nuclear projects, including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs, and future fusion technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of new build nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in civil-structural engineering, leveraging industry-leading technologies and expertise.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, project engineering, or design consultancy.
  • Ability to undertake and/or review the design of new building structures, with a focus on nuclear projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop concise and proportionate solutions.
