In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing de-risking solutions for trustees of defined benefit pension schemes. You'll work on a portfolio of high-value transactions, directly impacting our clients and contributing to Aviva's success.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to analyze and manage pension risk.
  • Utilize your actuarial expertise to develop robust cash flow models and assess the financial implications of various de-risking strategies.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated progress towards actuarial qualifications or equivalent experience in pensions administration or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Experience with actuarial cash flow modeling and bulk annuity transactions is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK defined benefit pension legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and client engagement.
