Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team at Aviva. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks associated with insured products on the FNZ platform.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to manage and mitigate operational risks
- Provide advice and oversight to the Team Manager and Product Owner
- Ensure the operational environment for all new and migrated insured products on the FNZ platform is fit for purpose and operating effectively
- Support the development of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Collaborate with other FNZ oversight teams to review, approve, and test technical changes to the platform
- Good knowledge of insured products, particularly bonds and pensions
- Good understanding of risks and controls, including documenting, overseeing, and assessing a control environment
- Knowledge of the risks an insured business and its customers are exposed to
- Good numerical skills and an analytical mindset
- Salary up to £32,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary
