Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of pool users and ensuring their well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pool Supervision: Maintain vigilant supervision of pool users and ensure their safety at all times.
  • Training and Qualifications: Attend staff training as part of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid, pool rescue, and resuscitation techniques.
  • Customer Service: Deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer enjoyment and satisfaction.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with facilities Health and Safety procedures, carry out regular inspections, and report any maintenance issues using the appropriate procedures.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Carry out cleaning duties to the highest possible standards and prepare activity areas, setting up and dismantling equipment safely.
  • Pool Water Quality: Carry out pool water quality and environmental tests, plus spa tests if necessary.
  • Teamwork: Attend regular team meetings and provide feedback to the Duty Manager on any operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Swimming Ability: Ability to swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds and 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water and tread water for 30 seconds.
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification: NPLQ is desirable, however for suitable candidates, we can provide the required training and qualification.
