Examiner - International GCSE Science Single Combines

As a Science Examiner for Pearson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our International GCSE Science assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
- Using ePEN, a digital marking system, to mark scripts from the comfort of your own home.
- Submitting samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure quality control.
- Meeting milestones for marking and ensuring all administration is completed as specified.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant qualification subject.
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualification as a teacher.
Competencies:
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A high level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme effectively.
