We are seeking a skilled Examiner to join our team at Pearson, a leading education company. As an Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our GCSE Science assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Marking and Evaluation: You will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme, ensuring that you adhere to our conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
- Administration and Logistics: You will need to submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times and ensure that all administration is completed as specified.
- Subject Knowledge and Expertise: A high level of subject knowledge is necessary to apply the mark scheme effectively. You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the GCSE Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Teaching Experience: You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant qualification subject, since qualifying as a teacher.
- Qualifications and Skills: You will need a degree or equivalent, be a qualified teacher, and possess the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
