Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Transport Consultant to join our team at Meriden Media. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to our clients, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery and compliance with our business standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Fulfillment: Ensure all bookings are made in a timely manner, in line with our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Support the Contract Manager: Provide assistance with forward planning, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
- Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain close working relationships with drivers and staff across each location, using available tools to ensure effective communication.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure all minimum standards associated with our booking and management process are maintained, and support the Contract Manager to deliver 100% compliance audit ratings.
- Initiatives and Projects: Support the effective rollout of new internal initiatives and projects, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption to our services.
- HR and Operations: Provide initial point of contact for HR-related matters, communicating with all concerned in a timely manner, and manage day-to-day worker issues, including pay, holiday, sickness, and attendance.
- Objectives and Escalation: Ensure all personal objectives are met, and escalate any known operational issues to senior management in a timely manner.
- Communication and Payroll: Maintain the highest levels of communication with clients, flexible workers, and internal departments, ensuring all relevant payroll deadlines are met.
Key Behavioral Skills:
- Business Acumen: Possess high levels of business acumen, including oral and written business communication skills to a high standard.
- Problem-Solving: Display an inquisitive approach to managing sites, identifying opportunities to improve process, recruitment, financial, and operational performance.
- Decision-Making: Evidence capability for making sound and confident decisions on behalf of the client and Meriden Media.
- Communication: Evidence a calm, encouraging, and enthusiastic character when managing complex and sensitive internal and external communications.
- Task Management: Meet and exceed all tasks and functions without management reminder.
