Merchandise Director Opportunity

dSb Recruitment Consultancy Ltd. is partnering with a leading retailer to find a highly skilled Merchandise Director to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a range strategy that aligns with customer needs and ensures pricing architecture is effective.
  • Manage inbound and outbound stock flow, resolving supply chain issues to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Lead the supply base to ensure efficient distribution of stock and effective management of the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute new season and phase launches, as well as promotional activities.
  • Develop and implement succession planning for the merchandising team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure team members are equipped for future roles.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a high street or trading retailer within the UK fashion sector, with a strong background in merchandising.
  • Leadership experience at Head of Merchandising or Merchandise Director level, with a track record of achieving profit growth.
  • Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and seasonal environment.
  • Strong trading mentality, with a focus on achieving profit and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving and demanding retailer, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

This is a full-time, office-based role, and candidates must be based in the local and surrounding areas. They must also have the right to work in the UK.
