- Rockett St George is an online emporium selling an eclectic range of industrial inspired furniture, lighting and homewares. We are an innovative, digitally native, lifestyle brand that offers a curated selection _of quirky but cool furniture and homeware. The brand is known for its distinctive style that aims _to inspire and delight. The brand prides itself on its strong identity and instantly recognisable style._

**Job Summary**:
To analyse Rockett St George sales performance, identifying opportunities and risks with the objective of maximum profitability. Manage all stock delivery, distribution and the supply chain.

Sitting within the Buying and Merchandising function, you will use previous data and sales information to advise and maximise future performance across all departments.

**Responsibilities**:
**Supply chain management**:

- Overseeing supply chain and flow of stock into the business
- Liaising with suppliers, freight partners and warehouse management to ensure optimal stock holding is maintained at all time
- Communication with Customer Service team regarding stock availability and delivery schedule
- Optimising flow of stock through RSG supply chain, identifying difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise

**Optimising sales and profitability**
- Planning and trading the product range to optimise sales volume and profitability
- Balancing shorter lead time wholesale buys with longer lead time own brand range

**Stock level management**
- Managing stock levels based on forecasts for the season
- Communicating stock and spend information to Finance team
- Working closely with warehouse management to plan stock holding and planning

**Sales and data analysis**
- Maintaining RSG WSSI, sharing with Directors, Finance and Board on regular basis
- Analysing bestsellers (e.g. what are our bestselling price points, colourways, styles etc.)
- Monitoring slow sellers and taking action (e.g. reducing prices, promotions, no replenishment etc.)
- Producing sales forecasts based on RSG historical sales data, as well as competitor analysis
- Producing regular sales reports to share with Directors, Finance and the Board, to inform of sales opportunities, recommendations and buying plans
- Maintaining commercial awareness of competitors performance

**The Person we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in Merchandising role, preferably in homeware/interiors
- Excellent communicator
- Collaborative
- Highly numerate and commercially analytical
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Passionate about eCommerce and retail
- Commercially aware, keeps up with latest trends and developments, especially in homeware and interiors space
- High level of computer literacy, with a focus on Microsoft Suite
- Confident ability in learning new software, preferably with some experience using OrderWise
