About the Role

As a key member of the UL Solutions team, the Engineering Compliance Team Leader will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and compliance specialists to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of engineers and compliance specialists to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management
    • Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to stay up-to-date on changing regulations and standards.
    • Ensure that all products and services meet regulatory requirements.
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • University degree (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a compliance or regulatory environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement compliance strategies.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
