Role - SAP TRM Solution Architect
  • 10+ years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
  • At least four full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live) with tax authorities.
  • Expertise in SAP Activate Methodology, ASAP, SCRUM, Waterfall, and integration between modules and systems.
  • Ability to work in both pre-sales and implementation teams with a consulting mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality.
  • Capability to lead detailed module-specific Explore sessions and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Proficiency in using Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, and review release notes.
  • Deep understanding of FICA-specific SAP functionality and integration points with other modules.
  • Ability to estimate resources needed to meet project targets and plan configuration and development stages.
  • Expert-level knowledge in multiple modules of SAP and multiple industry experience.
  • Great understanding of industry trends and thought leadership.
  • Exposure to new technologies of SAP and willingness to develop niche solutions.
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
Responsibilities
  • Undertakes and owns the Solution Architecture of multiple modules to ensure integration of systems, processes, and data preparation.
  • Total ownership for the entire solution design and delivery, including customer engagement.
  • Provides strategic guidance in various project phases, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Guides the project team on open issues and processes, ensuring optimized design and delivery.
  • Supports Project Management in building project plans, resource estimation, and monitoring progress.
  • Resolves customer processes, business challenges, SAP processes, and architecture issues proactively.
  • Communicates regularly with the project team and stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
Pre-sales
  • Leads and participates in global Pre-Sales activities, preparing artefacts and presentation slides to support the sales team.
  • Understands customer processes and prepares Scope of Work (SOW) and effort estimation.
  • Leads customer interaction for Solution Platforms and engagement, ensuring clarity of thought in SOW.
  • Accountable for building SOW by bringing in activity-level planning and visibility.
  • Leads Proof of Concept (PoC) and conducts demos to clients.
Practice Responsibilities
  • Participates in peer reviews and shares feedback with the Practice Head and relevant Project Managers.
  • Follows up with project peers to ensure feedback is incorporated and monitored.
  • Actively participates in TRM Practice activities, focusing on PoC build, Knowledge Management, and re-usable build.
  • Leads the TRM Center of Excellence (CoE) and supports Practice Head on strategy activities.
  • Responsible for transforming TRM consultants into a talented pool through coaching, mentoring, and role modelling.
  • Creates training material for the TRM Academy.
