Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and explain complex financial concepts and information to non-financial managers
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improvement
  • Manage large and complex revenue budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
  • Collaborate with senior clinical leads and managers to develop business cases and drive strategic decision-making
  • Provide financial planning and management support, including the development of annual, medium, and long-term strategies
  • Deliver financial turnaround and improvement initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Manage contentious situations and influence stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, in a highly politically sensitive environment
Requirements
  • Master's degree level or equivalent level of experience
  • CCAB Qualified Accountant with professional accountancy qualification and further specialist knowledge training and experience
  • Professional knowledge of multiple disciplines, including workforce and service planning
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Knowledge and understanding of improvement methodologies used across organizations
