Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective support strategies for students with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Provide individualized support to students across various year groups to overcome barriers to learning and classroom access.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to inclusion and SEN.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an inclusion or support role, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN and SEMH needs, including strategies for supporting students with autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
