The Data Science Team

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team. This role is integral to our ongoing transformation into a data-driven airline, leveraging the power of data science to optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth.

Job Purpose

As a Senior Data Scientist - Optimization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced analytical models to address key business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, design innovative solutions, and deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sophisticated optimization algorithms to enhance operational efficiency across various areas of the business, such as flight scheduling, resource allocation, and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and optimization techniques to continuously improve our analytical capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing optimization models using relevant programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
