Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in Leamington Spa. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services to our clients, including preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, and financial statements.
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will work closely with our experienced team to support a varied client portfolio, managing your own workflow and ensuring client work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for liaising with HMRC on client matters, attending meetings, and helping with client queries.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of statutory accounts and financial statements
- Preparation of tax returns and assessments for a range of organisational structures
- Assist with VAT returns
- Manage your own workflow and ensure client work is completed and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Liaise with HMRC on client matters
- Liaise with clients, attending meetings and helping with queries
- Promote and strive for customer service excellence, building strong rapport with clients
- Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities
