Our client, a leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an Account Management Specialist. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively within the IAM team to provide outstanding customer service and ensure timely deliveries to valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

Main Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for both existing and prospective clients
  • Handle sales inquiries and initiate the quotation process, sourcing material prices from designated suppliers
  • Process sales orders, modifications, and cancellations promptly while keeping clients informed
  • Generate purchase orders for client needs with designated suppliers, ensuring material availability for production schedules
  • Minimize excess or outdated stock, ensuring all finished goods and raw materials are billed to clients within agreed timelines
  • Coordinate with various departments, including planning, logistics, and external sales, to meet client requirements
  • Communicate with external contractors regarding the delivery and collection of goods as necessary
  • Maintain a tidy workspace and adhere to Health & Safety regulations

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a sales or customer service capacity
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with computerized sales order processing systems for data entry and record keeping
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
