About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics ODP/RGN to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist consultants during surgical procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Prepare patients for clinical and operative procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Provide immediate post-operative care, monitoring patients' condition and responding to any concerns.
  • Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner, ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Participate fully as a team member, sharing knowledge and information to promote a cohesive team and achieve team objectives.
  • Help control cross-infection by observing departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse qualification (HCPC/ADULT RGN)
  • Post-registration experience within Anaesthetics
  • Ability to deliver high standards of care
