Job Summary:

RSK Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Geotechnical/Geo-environmental Engineer to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. As a Graduate Geotechnical/Geo-environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and managing geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation projects for external clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and managing geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation projects, including project planning, site investigation, and data analysis.
  • Oversee ground investigations, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock logging, and laboratory scheduling to current geotechnical standards.
  • Assist with geotechnical analysis and design, providing technical expertise to support project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Desirable: further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science.
  • Registration with a suitable professional body (e.g. Geol Soc, CIWEM, ICE).
  • Basic understanding of geology, ground investigation works, engineering geology, and geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering.
  • UK driver's license is essential.
