Salary: Up to £54,702 per annum (dependent on PQE)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Education Solicitor - SEN Lawyer to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling and advising on a varied caseload of SEN and Education Law cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and advising on a varied caseload of SEN and Education Law cases, providing proactive support to the team with all queries
- Acting on SEN cases and advising clients about Tribunal cases
- Carrying own caseload of matters, including covering Court work and hearings as required
- Providing expert legal advice and representation in various Education disputes
- Conducting legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents, and providing case analysis
- Assisting in negotiating settlements and alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate
- Conducting advocacy as required in relation to varied cases, including Education Tribunals
Requirements:
- Knowledge in Education & SEN Law
- Local Government experience desirable
Working Hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
