Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the broader finance team to prepare comprehensive analyses for both input and output VAT.
  • Oversee the timely execution of periodic VAT returns.
  • Ensure that VAT payments are processed punctually.
  • Work in conjunction with the wider business to establish new articles with the appropriate VAT classifications.
  • Engage with external tax consultants and regulatory bodies regarding VAT matters.
  • Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations pertaining to VAT.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to processes and controls to drive efficiencies and strengthen compliance.

Candidate Profile
  • Must be a qualified ACCA/ACA/CTA Accountant with experience in industry or practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in indirect tax matters.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to forge strong business relationships swiftly.
  • Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and system development.
