We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at True Engineers. As a key member of our building services design consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for a variety of projects.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a junior or intermediate electrical design engineer to work on a range of technical environments, including military manufacturing plants, data centres, and marine engineering departments. You will be responsible for undertaking electrical design work, including surveys, design, drawings, and specifications, as well as conducting site surveys and attending project meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake electrical design work, including surveys, design, drawings, and specifications
- Conduct site surveys to obtain relevant information for scheme design
- Work with a focus on low carbon design
- Attend project meetings with clients and other design team members, contractors, and stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Building Services Degree or Electrical Design Degree, or other related higher educational qualification
- At least 2 years' experience in electrical design within building services
- Experience in maintaining and building good working relationships
- Technical design experience, including electrical calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Experience using design software
- A full UK driving license
