About the Role

This specialist building services design consultancy is seeking an electrical design engineer to join their friendly and experienced team of engineers. The company designs a wide range of technical environments, including military manufacturing plants, data centres, marine engineering departments, engine design suites, and large and complex plant rooms.

The company's focus on low carbon design is at the core of everything they do, and they are looking for an engineer who shares this passion.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake electrical design work, including surveys, design, drawings, and specifications for projects.
  • Attend project meetings with clients and other design team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out site surveys for projects to obtain all relevant information required for carrying out scheme design.
  • Take opportunities to learn and develop your skills as an engineer.
  • Work with a focus on low carbon design.
Requirements
  • Building Services Degree or Electrical Design Degree or other related higher educational qualification (HNC/HND).
  • At least 2 years experience in electrical design within building services.
  • Experience in maintaining and building good working relationships.
  • Technical design experience should include electrical calculations, drawings, specifications.
  • Experience using design software.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
