Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at our cutting-edge Winsford site. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve Complex Problems: Diagnose and repair machine faults swiftly and efficiently, working closely with Engineering Cell Managers to maintain production uptime.
  • Drive Maintenance Excellence: Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Document Your Impact: Maintain precise breakdown and maintenance records to support our commitment to quality.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work with the Engineering stores team to optimize parts management and sourcing solutions.
  • Grow Your Skills: Participate in training, meetings, and development opportunities to continually enhance your engineering expertise.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Bias: An ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering.
  • Proven Experience: In a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Technical Savvy: Strong knowledge of electrical controls (PLCs, relays, VSDs) and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
