Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Primary Education Support Assistant to join our team at a popular primary school in Wigan. As a Primary Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and providing assistance to students in a 2-form entry primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement educational programs

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
