About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Mental Health Support Team as a Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people, providing specialist mental health services and supporting their emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of mental health professionals in providing high-quality services to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
  • Collaborate with schools, colleges, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to mental health support.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to team members to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Person Specification
  • Registered professional with a graduate training in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology).
  • Experience of working with children and young people in mental health settings.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of legislation and policies related to children and young people, including safeguarding procedures.
