We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Activities Coordinator at Windmill Care Home in Brixton Hill, London. As a key member of our compassionate and welcoming team, you will play a vital role in providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents.

As a Lifestyle Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and organizing meaningful and engaging activities and a lifestyle programme throughout the home to enrich the lives of our residents. This will involve working closely with the team, family members, and residents to establish an understanding of the activities and lifestyle changes that would benefit them individually or as a group.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a lifestyle programme that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Building relationships with local community organizations, schools, colleges, and churches to create partnerships and opportunities for our residents
  • Planning and organizing days out and activities that promote social interaction and community engagement
