EHCP Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled EHCP Coordinator to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) receiving High Needs Funding (HNF).

• Work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure the effective implementation of EHCPs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies and partners to secure additional support for students.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure students are meeting their EHCP goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to students and their families to ensure they are aware of their EHCP rights and responsibilities.

• Graduate and/or vocational training in a relevant subject such as Education, Health and Social Sciences.
• Good standard of general education to include Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience of working with young people with SEND in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
