Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Fire Extinguisher Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and hose reels for our customers' premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and hose reels
  • Understand and comply with BS5306:3, BS5306:9, and BS306:8 standards
  • Available for call-out rota and willing to travel to various sites
  • Excellent customer interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Fault find and undertake inspections, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and documentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the fire protection industry or extinguisher industry
  • Ability to use hand tools and work at heights
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
  • Organized, punctual, and professional appearance
  • Driving license is essential
