We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Confined Space Operations Manager to join our team at UKSE Group. As a Confined Space Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of confined spaces on our water treatment site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confined Space Safety: Ensure that all confined spaces are safe for personnel to enter and work in, and that all necessary safety procedures are followed.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical fitters and other personnel working in confined spaces.
  • Gas Monitoring: Take gas monitor readings as required to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure that all personnel working in confined spaces wear the required PPE, including full orange high vis and 5-point PPE.
  • Site Hours: Work a 5-day week, Monday to Friday, with site hours typically from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Requirements:

  • Safety Critical Medical Check: Must have a valid Safety Critical Medical Check.
  • Confined Space Topman Certificate: Must hold a valid Confined Space Topman Certificate.
  • CSCS Card: Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
  • Full Orange High Vis: Must wear full orange high vis and 5-point PPE at all times when working in confined spaces.
