JGA Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading retail brand to find a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee their Payroll Operations Function on a fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large payroll functions and providing legislative and technical payroll advice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a payroll team and oversee the overall payroll operations of two internal payroll functions.
• Provide legislative and technical payroll advice to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and develop payroll team members to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• CIPP or equivalent Payroll Manager Qualification or relevant experience.
• Extensive payroll management experience within a high-volume setting, with a minimum of 5,000 employees.
• Knowledge of payroll practices, HMRC issues, and year-end processes.
• Advanced Excel and reporting/analysis skills.
