Role Overview:

TRC Yorkshire is a rapidly expanding Utility Independent Connections Provider (ICP) specializing in E-Mobility, Industrial & Commercial, Renewables, and Housing sectors. With a national presence, we are seeking a skilled Tendering / Estimating Engineer to enhance our sales and tendering operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze client specifications and requirements.
  • Create comprehensive cost estimates utilizing Excel.
  • Understand both contestable and non-contestable connections, including beyond the meter installations.
  • Accurately interpret electrical loadings.
  • Develop preliminary designs for estimating purposes.
  • Calculate turnkey solutions following the cleaner process model.
  • Deliver complete turnkey package solutions within established timelines.
  • Monitor and report relevant KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with DNO and IDNO specifications.
  • Manage workflow priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Uphold customer standards while aligning with company values.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Stay informed about market trends and promote the company to maximize opportunities.
  • Build and sustain relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Gather quotations and tenders from suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Maintain awareness of the operational market.
