Job Description

Overview

The Geophysicist role is a key position within our organization, requiring a high level of expertise and technical knowledge in geophysical surveying and data analysis. As a Geophysicist, you will be responsible for leading projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring high-quality results and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
    • Coordinate and manage project teams, including geophysicists, technicians, and support staff
  • Data Collection and Analysis
    • Design and implement data collection strategies, ensuring high-quality data and efficient use of resources
    • Analyze and interpret data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to clients
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements
    • Conduct regular quality audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty
    • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant degree in geophysics, physics, or a related field
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in geophysical surveying and data analysis
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong technical knowledge of geophysical surveying and data analysis techniques
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Full driving license and good physical fitness
