We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to lead and contribute to research of international standard in comparative genomics and associated omics technologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of academic achievement and a demonstrated interest in using domestic mammals as study systems, particularly in the context of health-related traits and their underlying genomic basis in companion animals.

The School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine is a vibrant and dynamic community of researchers and educators, with existing strengths in infectious disease, physiology, ageing, veterinary epidemiology, and evolution among others.

We welcome applications from candidates with a Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) in animal biology, genomics and health or related discipline, with significant teaching experience within the subject area.

This is a full-time, open-ended position based on the University of Glasgow's Garscube campus, with access to excellent research infrastructure and opportunities for collaborative research at the clinical and translational interface.
