Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Assistant to join our team at Focus Resourcing. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our European Service & Repair centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake allocated tasks to assist with the smooth running of the service centre, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain, clean, and organize the fleet of demonstration boats, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
  • Operate the daily store operations, dispatching parts orders as received, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare repairs to rowing boats, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist in the preparation and loading of transport logistics operations from the service centre.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of rowing and the basic functions of a rowing boat would be advantageous.
  • Competent in English speaking and reading requirements on job sheets.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety in the workshop environment.
  • Manual handling with heavy lifting.
  • A great team spirit with a common goal to achieve excellent results.
  • Trainees from an automotive, body shop, or paint sprayer background welcome.
