Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Trade Specialist, you will be responsible for leading on the Indo-Pacific market portfolio and working closely with our Departmental colleagues across multiple sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating trade missions for UK-based space companies to participate in large international conferences and events
  • Managing inward investment in line with the National Security & Investments Act and other legislation/policy
  • Supporting companies to export their sensitive technologies appropriately and building more resilient and secure supply chains with our partners and allies
  • Attending investment-related events across the UK and overseas and supporting a cross-Whitehall team to deliver different aspects of the Private Investment Framework for Space
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong track record of engaging with industry and private investors. The ideal candidate will have:
