Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager in the manufacturing sector?

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned project engineer or project manager to take on a crucial role within a reputable specialist manufacturer. The company provides its products across various industries, and this position offers a diverse range of responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing engineering. Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion, handling multiple engineering initiatives simultaneously, and adhering to budget constraints is essential.

Applicants should have strong mechanical and electrical skills. A background in digital control and automation is highly desirable. Familiarity with COSHH and chemical handling is advantageous, while knowledge of CE certification, ATEX, HAZOP, and HAZID will enhance your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering projects aimed at upgrading and optimizing manufacturing operations.
  • Manage site infrastructure projects and enhance production and process equipment.
  • Prepare comprehensive project plans and oversee machinery commissioning.
  • Take full responsibility for capital expenditure, including sourcing materials and managing contractors.
  • Conduct health and safety assessments and review method statements.
  • Provide project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering multiple projects concurrently.
  • Expertise in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and automation.
  • Understanding of COSHH regulations.
  • Experience in cradle-to-grave project management.
  • Proven track record in delivering continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment.
