We are in search of a skilled NDT Technician to become a vital part of the team during this period of growth.
SALARY:
£37, with an additional shift allowance bringing the total to £43,704.93
WORKING HOURS:
Three shifts covering mornings, afternoons, and nights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examine routers, procedures, specifications, and other directives for thoroughness and clarity to execute tasks effectively.
- Operate x-ray generating apparatus.
- Process components in line with established procedures and technical guidelines to assess for weld imperfections.
- Configure, calibrate, and conduct process control evaluations on equipment, adhering to instructions and documenting outcomes.
- Create or modify NDT data cards for validation by a Level III technician.
- Analyze, assess, and report evaluation findings as necessary.
- Complete required logs and statistical documentation as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date job skills and knowledge of operational requirements (including procedures and specifications).
- Ensure the work environment, equipment, and all documentation/records are consistently audit-ready.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a NAS410/EN4179 Level 2 X-ray certification.
- Hold a PCN Level 2 X-ray certification.
