We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Operative to join our team at Barfoots. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, and facilities to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date cleaning records are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with the hygiene team to identify and address any hygiene or food safety concerns or incidents.
- Adhere to COSHH regulations and all health, safety, and company policies.
- Provide support to the rest of the team as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in conducting cleaning practices and previous hygiene work experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of the fresh food sector (desirable).
- CIEH Food Safety Level 2 (desirable).
