We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join our team at Blakemore Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Intelligent Office and be able to provide exceptional administrative support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Central Administration Team, ensuring the efficient and effective use of Intelligent Office.
  • Assist with project work related to data integrity, maintenance, and development of admin processes.
  • Provide technical support to client-facing admin teams in relation to the accurate use of Intelligent Office.
  • Develop and build relationships with clients, insurance companies, and advisers.
  • Prepare and submit new business applications, including obtaining illustrations/quotations, product literature, and fund/transfer values from insurance companies.
  • Maintain client records using Iress, including inputting new business and updating client investments.
  • Scanning documentation and preparing valuations.
  • Competent use of investment platform for placing trades and managing client cash accounts.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years' experience within the independent sector of the financial services industry, in a relevant administration or operations role.
  • 2-3+ years' experience using Intelligent Office in an IFA administration role and a talent for working with systems and managing data effectively.
  • Excellent written and visual presentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, being highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including at least intermediate Excel knowledge.
  • Understanding of the needs of Financial Services teams and FCA rules and compliance.
  • A CII Certificate level qualification (and/or other relevant financial qualifications) will be an advantage.
