As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives, achieving personal goals, learning new hobbies, and participating in community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support clients in developing and maintaining daily routines and habits
- Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities and social events
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism
- Confidence in performing physical interventions and restraint training
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Valid driver's license with business insurance
