Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Medical Specialist Registrar (StR) Doctor to provide high-quality medical care in their area of specialty, supporting the delivery of patient care in diverse clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide specialist consultations, comprehensive assessments, and treatment plans for patients within your area of expertise.
- Clinical Duties: Perform diagnostic procedures, manage acute and chronic conditions, and ensure adherence to high standards of clinical practice.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, to deliver coordinated care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with NHS policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Follow all relevant clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Teaching and Supervision: Support and supervise junior doctors and medical trainees, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
- Emergency Care: Respond to and manage emergency situations, providing prompt and effective treatment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Specialist Qualifications: Relevant specialist qualification, such as MRCP, FRCS, MRCOG, or equivalent.
- Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Experience: Significant experience in the relevant specialty, with a strong background in handling complex cases and making clinical decisions.
- Advanced Training: Completion of core and advanced specialist training in your field of expertise.
- Additional Requirements: Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) and a commitment to ongoing medical education.

- Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated high level of clinical knowledge and practical skills in your specialty.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and support clinical teams, providing direction and oversight as required.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in different clinical settings and with various teams.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
