Job Description

Role Summary

Everec is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex automotive engineering programmes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Leadership: Develop and implement programme plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, suppliers, customers, and senior management, to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering teams, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and best practices are followed.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilisation of personnel, tools, and technologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular status reports, project documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive Programme Management Experience: Proven track record of managing large-scale automotive engineering programmes, with a strong understanding of the automotive industry and engineering principles.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical background in automotive engineering, with experience in product development, systems engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
