Job Title: Change Lead - Commercials

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Lead to join our team at Primark. As a Change Lead, you will play a key role in driving transformation and change across our commercial domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive transformation strategies for commercial domains
  • Partner with Transformation Leads to assess, prioritize, sequence, and deliver transformation and change roadmaps
  • Work with strategic planning functions, Portfolio Team, and functional planning teams to advise on the impact of multiple projects across the business
  • Provide expert guidance to project change teams on strategies and directives
  • Review change strategic plans and associated artefacts to ensure alignment with business direction and other initiatives
  • Formally escalate business change risks and dependencies to programme management
  • Participate in hands-on delivery of Primark 0 change-related work across portfolios
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to create and refine change management strategies aligned to strategic transformation priorities
  • Develop effective resourcing strategies for initiatives to maintain a flexible, targeted, and cost-effective approach
  • Partner with core functional leaders to understand specific challenges, prior learning, change context, climate, and capacity to implement, adopt, and embed change

Requirements:

  • Deep change and retail experience gained through complex and varied environments, with a minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Large-scale change strategy design, planning, and activation experience across similar environments
  • Credible understanding of end-to-end business processes in commercial domains, with experience working within one or more functional areas
  • Deep knowledge of at least two business functions, including Buying, Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality & Sustainability, Ethical Trade
  • Key business capabilities, including Range & Assortment Planning, Allocation & Replenishment, Warehouse Management, End-to-End Visibility, Network Planning & Optimisation, Product Development & Quality Management, Sourcing & Supplier Management, Inventory Optimisation
  • Ability to influence without authority and engage with leaders at all levels of the organisation
