Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team, focusing on the development and implementation of BACB's Information Security Policies, Standards, and Frameworks to align with the organization's Cybersecurity Maturity Model.

Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development and Framework Establishment

  • Craft a comprehensive framework of policies, procedures, and standards to support BACB's Information Security Architecture.

Defensive Strategies and Role Definition:

  • Establish and integrate first and second lines of defense, including detailed job descriptions.
  • Clarify reporting structures and embed cybersecurity roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Formulate a structured threat intelligence framework.

Asset Management and Vulnerability Assessment:

  • Enhance and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for all organizational assets and components.
  • Identify, prioritize, and conduct risk assessments on critical BACB assets, including supplier assurance evaluations.
  • Develop a vulnerability management strategy to detect and address critical vulnerabilities within the BACB infrastructure.

Security Resilience and Access Control:

  • Utilize advanced Microsoft E5 capabilities to secure access to BACB applications and services.
  • Review existing security tools and create a remediation plan for optimization.

Monitoring and Incident Response:

  • Assess options for a comprehensive managed Detection and Response (MDR) service.
  • Implement and integrate an enhanced end-to-end managed MDR service.
  • Document and execute a complete incident response process.

Training and Awareness Initiatives:

  • Design and disseminate a training program to ensure staff receive role-specific cybersecurity training.
  • Establish a periodic Cyber Awareness training program for all employees.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in project-oriented cybersecurity roles, particularly within Banking or Financial Institutions.
